  • July 18, 2009 - 2009 Champps Summer Cookout and ReggaeFest - Champps Americana, Marlton, NJ

    Level Vibes, Steppin Razor, Ballyhoo! and The Movement rocked the Marlton, NJ Champps Americana to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The mid-summer roots rock and reggae festival drew 350 concert-goers and netted $5,000 to be donated to St. Jude's. Outdoor acoustic sets from South Jersey local act Level Vibes and Philadelphia's Steppin Razor set a relaxed mood before moving inside to rock the local bar and grille followed by Aberdeen Maryland's Ballyhoo and Philly's The Movement to close the night. The arrangement proved the perfect mid-summer show for patrons away from the shore.

  • May 31, 2009 - M'korstock - A day of Music, Art and Shalom - Congregation M'kor Shalom, Cherry Hill, NJ
  • The 2009 M’kor Shalom M’korstock Jewish Music and Arts festival was a considerable success as the DCS Team and the M’korstock committee members staged a day of Music and Art for around 12,000 patrons. An estimated $20,000 was raised to benefit Gift of Life and the M’kor Shalom Synagogue in Cherry Hill. Event-goers enjoyed live music from an assemblage of artists ranging from child entertainers to Jewish inspired reggae and hard rock. The DCS Team were pleased to be a part of another successful event and thank all volunteers as well as event patrons who came out to enjoy and celebrate.

  • April 25, 2009 - 3rd Annual Jeff Burd Menengitis Walk - Freedom Park, Medford, NJ
  • The 3rd Annual Jeff Burd Walk was well attended with a gathering of 150 walkers who contributed to raising an excess of $12,000, a portion of which will be donated to the National Meningitis Association and Meningitis Angels. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to help support an individual affected by the disease. DCS supplied entertainment for the 150 walkers before and after the walk. DCS would like to thank all in attendance as well as the Burd Family and Off Hopewell and School of Rock for Performing at the event.

  • November 26, 2008 - 2008 thanksGIVING Fest - Champps Americana, Marlton, NJ
  • The 2008 thanksGIVING Fest was the largest DCS event in terms of both attendees and charitable contributions collected. With an estimated 850 concertgoers in attendance and nearly $8,000 collected, DCS and Champps were pleased to present a collection of talented local acts to the over-capacity crowd. Music fans were treated to performances by a lineup of diverse bands which captivated the standing-room-only setting. Performances from Hypersonic Flow , The Roddies, Blue Sinatra, Desoto Jones and Three Legged Fox kept local drinkers engaged throughout the 4 hour event. The event beneficiary, Toys for Tots, was also represented by marines collecting toys and donations at the door. Plans are already being formulated to organize the 2009 thanksGIVING fest at Champps Americana bar and grill in Marlton, NJ. DCS would like to thank all in attendance as well as Champps' Operating Partner, Todd Lukas, and all the bands for their outstanding hard work, performance, support and enthusiasm and we hope to see you all at the 2009 thanksGIVING Fest.
